2014 National Walk for Epilepsy

Little Warriors

We need your help!

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, our team will join hundreds of other teams in participating in the 8th Annual National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington, D.C.

The day our son was born, June 11, 2011, we chose his name: Owen. It means "Little Warrior." Unbeknownst to us at that time, our son would grow up to be just that - a little warrior, persevering depsite having a siezure disorder. Owen is so happy, smart, loving, thoughtful, funny, and so quick to smile. Despite the siezures, doctors visits, tests, and medications, Owen loves and lives life to the fullest. Chris and I love and admire our son, Owen, more than words can express.

With 1 in 26 people developing epilepsy at some point in their lives, we are helping to raise awareness about seizures and are raising money to help accelerate the development of new therapies.

Please consider joining our team for the walk or making a donation today so we can help make a difference in the lives of those affected by epilepsy!

Thanks for supporting the Little Warriors team!!
